Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

App0 is an AI-native app builder that helps users generate, iterate on, and export runnable software projects from natural-language descriptions. We may add, adjust, or discontinue features from time to time, and we will give reasonable advance notice of significant changes.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date;
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account;
• You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account;
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You must comply with the applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and relevant policies of your country or region and of any other country or region implicated by your access to or use of the Service or by content you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that the manner and purpose of your use are lawful and compliant.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, or contains malicious code;
• Attempt to bypass the Service's security mechanisms, sandbox isolation, or access restrictions;
• Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or access the Service through unauthorized automation;
• Submit high-volume, repetitive, looping, or automated prompts without a legitimate use purpose; intentionally consume model tokens, compute, storage, bandwidth, or other platform resources; or use the Service to impair its stability, increase its costs, or disrupt other users;
• Evade or attempt to evade quotas, rate limits, billing, or abuse-prevention controls, including by using multiple or shared accounts, scripts, or other techniques to combine allowances or repeatedly claim promotions;
• Use the Service to build products intended for attacks, surveillance, or infringing others' privacy or rights;
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of others.

Where we reasonably determine that abuse has occurred, we may, proportionate to its severity, limit or block requests, deduct usage actually consumed, revoke improperly obtained allowances or promotions, require account verification, or suspend or terminate the account. For serious, ongoing, or repeated violations, we may terminate access immediately and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, decline to refund charges already incurred or consumed. We may preserve relevant records and seek recovery for losses where legally appropriate.

4. Intellectual Property and Code Ownership

Provided you comply with these Terms and do not infringe third-party rights, you own the prompts you enter, files you upload, and code generated and exported through the Service, and may use, modify, and deploy it in personal or commercial projects.

The App0 platform itself (including but not limited to its software, interface design, trademarks, and documentation) is owned by App0 and its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

• The free plan may be used within its published quota; international paid plans renew automatically for the subscription period shown at checkout until you cancel;
• Mainland China CNY plans are one-time monthly passes and do not renew automatically. Renewing the same plan extends its current expiry by one month. An upgrade applies after payment confirmation, with unused value converted into additional time on the new plan in proportion to the old and new plan prices. A downgrade to another paid plan or to Free takes effect when the current pass expires and may be cancelled before then;
• Prices and quotas may change as the product evolves; we will notify subscribed users in advance;
• Except where required by law or otherwise stated by us, fees already incurred are generally non-refundable;
• For automatically renewing plans, you may cancel at any time in account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or depend on third-party components, models, or infrastructure providers. We work to ensure these integrations are stable and secure, but we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services themselves.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will fully meet any particular purpose. You should test and review generated code before using it in production.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, App0 and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. If you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately without prior notice. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on the website with an updated date, and material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and disputes relating to the Service are subject to the laws and regulations of the competent jurisdiction. You retain all rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country or region of habitual residence. The parties should first seek to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, either party may bring the matter before a court or dispute resolution body having lawful jurisdiction.
